Arts in Dialogue - Dance Workshops

The first of 3 classes in the DITMAS Dance Workshop Series (the second is on August 24th and the last on August 31rd). The dance series will be held at Third Root Community Health Center. We encourage you to let us know in advance if you can make it. You can also use this link to register for photography and bookmaking workshops. Workshops are open to adults and children over the age of 12.

Dance will be taught by Diana Pettersen, a NYC-based choreographer. Diana has trained with Ballet Hispanico de Nueva York, Mark Morris Dance Group, Tiffany Mills Company, Susan Marshall Company and attended Manhattanville College for Dance Therapy. Diana's work has been showcased at SUMAC (Susan Marshall Company) Choreographers Workshop, ARTs East New York's 'Her Love Made Visible Gallery', QMAD's Itinerant Performing Arts Festival, The GRC Dance Lab, The 3rd Annual Suite Summer In-Sight Dance Festival & Pipe Dream Theatre's Off-Broadway production of "The Nutcracker & The Mouse King." In February 2013, Diana established Sans Limites Dance with Richard Cramer.
