Ditmas Park may be known for its Victorian homes and gardens, But for those of us living in apartment buildings and homes with paved yards, container gardening might be the only option.
But as anyone who has ventured into the gardening section of a plant nursery or hardware store, container gardening is expensive. A large pot, especially a nice one, will cost you.
On E. 14th St. between Avenue H and I, just outside Ditmas Park's borders, gardeners have gotten creative.
