Brick oven pizza has arrived on (well, just off) Cortelyou Road.
New York Brick Oven Pizza opened shop today at the southeast corner of Marlborough Road.
Its menu promises "The Largest Selection of Specialty Pizza," though it doesn't note what measure the shop is using (largest on the block? the world?). However, the menu does have 20 varieties, including such options as "taco," "insalata" and fried calamari.
The shop also offers a wide-variety of non-pizza options including salads, wraps, panini, burgers and fries, soup and a full menu of Italian entrees including Zuppa di Pesce along with the standard options.
Best of all, for those living on the edge of Ditmas Park, they say they'll deliver from Cation to Ave. H and from Ocean Parkway to E. 23rd St.
Also a note for those who can't eat cheese: their sauce doesn't have any (many pizza parlors put parmesan in the sauce).
