70th Precinct Blood Drive Wednesday

The 70th Precinct is hosting a blood drive Wednesday from 12:30-6:30 p.m. in front of the precinct at 154 Lawrence Avenue.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the need for blood increases during holidays and summer months.

"People are more apt to be traveling and active during these times and thus are at an increased risk for accidents," the Mayo Clinic writes.
