REGISTER NOW To Vote in Democratic Primary

The date for the Democratic Primary for New York City mayoral race is Sept. 10th, 2013, and if you are not already registered to vote you must do so now to vote in the primary. The New York City Board of Elections must receive your registration application 25 days before the primary. To vote in the Democratic Primary you must be a registered democrat. If you are not registered as a democrat and you wish to change your affiliation, so you can vote in the Democratic Primary don't delay. What's the big deal and why should you vote in the Democratic Primary rather than just wait to the actual election?  Well, whoever wins the Democratic Primary most likely will be the mayor, so if you don't vote you're letting someone else make the choice for you.
