The Jacksons are the remaining brothers of the Jackson Five minus their beloved brother, the gloved one Michael Jackson, performed last night Saturday, August 11th as part of Coney Island's Seaside Summer Concert Series. The Jacksons performance was absolutely entertaining and full of nostalgia. Marlon, Jermaine, Randy and Tito sang an energized medley of the earlier songs by The Jackson Five that got the audience up and out their seats. There was also a touching retrospective photo tribute to Michael, with the song "Gone Too Soon," sung by Jermaine. The Jacksons gave the audience their monies worth of choreographed moves and harmonies that rolled back the clock, but none the less remained timeless, with Jermaine singing most of the leads that would have been sung by Michael. And Marlon Jackson supplied the dance moves, that were not Michael's moves, but were energized and entertaining to watch.
The next and last concert of the Seaside Concert Series will be Gladys Knight and The Commodores on August 16th.
