Comments and concerns about traffic on Cortelyou Road can be aired tomorrow, Thurs., Oct. 11, at a forum hosted by Councilmember Eugene and the Department of Transportation.
Discussion leaders will focus on the future of traffic safety measures on Cortelyou Road specifically, and talk about what these measures will mean for residents, businesses and neighboring roads.
At a 70th Precinct Community Council meeting earlier this year, Eugene acknowledged there are problems with traffic in the neighborhood. He said that adding traffic lights in the neighborhood, such as at the intersection of Cortelyou and Westminster roads, might help the situation.
The forum will be held at 6 p.m. on the first floor of Temple Isaace, located at 1419 Dorchester Rd., at the corner of Dorchester and Marlborough Roads.
For additional questions or concerns, contact the Eugene's office at (718) 287-8762 or (212) 788-7352.
