City Hiring for Green Initiative

DEP's Office of Green Infrastructure looking to fill three positions

The city's Department of Environmental Protection is looking to fill three positions within its Office of Green Infrastructure. Two of the openings are for assistant civil engineers, and one is for project manager.

The project manager will be tasked with identifying sites for potential green infrastructure projects, assessing the impact of ongoing projects, and overseeing maintenance.

The assistant civil engineers will perform site analyses and conduct planning for future green initiatives throughout the city.

The Office of Green Infrastructure has recently embarked on a 20 year, $1.5 billion plan to revamp the city's waterways, clear sewers, and improve rainwater filtering mechanisms.

To apply for these positions, email your resume to recruit@dep.nyc.gov. For more information, check www.nyc.gov/dep.
