Car's Tank of Gas Drained

After Sandy hit, it was hard enough to get gas without having to worry about it vanishing into thin air. On Friday, Nov. 2 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a man noticed a puddle underneath his car, which he had parked on East 14 St. near Avenue H earlier that day. When he parked the car, it had a half tank of gas, but when he started it at that point, his gas gauge read empty. The man told police his tank was punctured.

Car Used as Doodle Pad

On Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 8:45 p.m., a woman returned to her car that she parked earlier that day on the corner of Dorchester and Stratford Roads to discover an unpleasant sight. A green "T" and scribbles had been spray painted along the passenger's side of her white Ford focus. The value of the damage was $200.

Bike Lifted from Outside Deli

On Sunday, Oct. 28 at 7:45 p.m., a man's bike was stolen from outside a deli on Rugby Road and Newkirk Avenue. The man's bike, a Rollfast Vintage, was valued at $250.
