Hundreds in Damages Mysteriously Inflicted to Parked Car

On Mon., Oct. 8 at 10:19 a.m. a woman, 59, had an unpleasant surprise when she discovered her car's entire right side had been scratched with an unknown object, police say. The damage done to the Pontiac, parked on Stratford Road near Cortelyou Road, is valued at more than $250.

Man Gets in Trouble for Playing Music Loudly, Gets in Even More Trouble for Giving False Identity

On Wed., Oct. 10 at 11 p.m., a police officer approached a car sitting on Flatbush Avenue near Albemarle Road because music was being played very loudly. When the officer asked the driver for identification, the man, 23, gave an I.D. with a warrant. Once back at the precinct, two more forms of identification were found in the man's wallet, all with different names. After figuring out which person he was, the man was arrested for false impersonation.

 

Property (Almost) Stolen from Soccer Field... Again

On Thursday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m., while a 14-year-old soccer player attended practice at the corner of Rugby Road and Caton Avenue, a 17-year-old took his bookbag and ran out of the park. The 14 year old's soccer coach ran after and caught the bookbag bandit. 

 

Pot Smokers Caught Red-Handed

A 20- and 21-year-old man were caught with a quantity of marijuana in public view and arrested on the corner of Caton Avenue and Saint Paul's Place Thursday, Oct. 11. at 7 p.m.
