Join the community at the Prospect Park Parade Grounds for the 29th annual National Night Out Against Crime on Aug. 7.
National Night Out is a night dedicated to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, according a release from the 70th Precinct.
The night is also meant to generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.
Police officers will be present in an effort to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

The event will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. at Caton Avenue and Argyle Road.
