Bed-Stuy

Mugger Assaults Senior
A mugger in Bed-Stuy assaulted and robbed a 71-year-old woman in Bed-Stuy last week, igniting a police manhunt in the local precinct.

Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a senior citizen on Macon Street, stealing her purse and knocking her down in the process. 

Murder Suspect Shoots Self Upstate
Eric McCormick, 40, shot himself in the chest rather than turning himself in to police during a standoff upstate. 

Suspect and Witness in Liquor Store Beating
Police are looking for a suspect and a witness in the beating of a 61-year-old man at a Bed-Stuy liquor store earlier this week. 

Crown Heights

Suspects Sought in Push-In Robbery
Police are on the lookout for four men who shoved their way into an Eastern Parkway apartment before stealing the victim's iPhone and iPad.

Carroll Gardens

Police Arrest Burglar in Grocery Store Office
A man was arrested after he was caught breaking into Court Street Grocers early Saturday morning, police said.

At 5 a.m., police received a call saying a man was seen forcing his way into the front door of the building. Officers were two blocks away at the time of the call, responded and confirmed the break-in.
