Rodneyse Bichotte, who’s mounting a primary challenge against Brooklyn Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs, sent out a mailer attacking Jacobs for taking embattled Vito Lopez's backing and contrasting that with the support she's collected from “independent progressives” like City Councilman Jumaane Williams... who never actually endorsed her.

“I’m pretty upset,” Williams said. “That’s just not an accurate mailer. It was done without me knowing about it.”
Williams said he did endorse Bichotte in a separate race for district leader, but left no question that he would not take sides in the Assembly race.
“I was clear about that,” he said. “It’s just completely unacceptable, completely without my imput at all.”
Bichotte campaign rep Jeff Guillot said the endorsement claim was an innocent "typo" -- even though the lit bears a picture of Williams and his name in two separate places.
"It was a typo on behalf of the campaign, and Councilman Williams has made it clear he's not endorsing any candidate," he said. "It was merely an error."
