I wish elected officials would let word out a bit more ahead of time so folks can plan accordingly, but ... as CaribWorldNews reports today:

Brooklyn is set to host a health care town hall today as Caribbean American Congresswoman, Yvette Clarke, brings the issue home to her community.

Clarke is set to host a forum on the hotly debated issue at the Flatbush-Tompkins Congressional Church from 6 p.m. today, September 1. The church is located at 424 E 19th Street in Brooklyn, NY. [corner of Dorchester and E19th]

Participants are urged to RSVP by logging on to http://ny.barackobama.com/FlatbushTH. The event is being organized by the New York State office of Organizing for America, President Obama`s off-shoot campaign organization.
