Vote Today!

Vote Today!

As someone who really cares about the neighborhood and cannot vote in this country, I'd like to urge everyone who can to remember to vote today in a primary where every vote really, really counts.

Our neighborhood seems to have especially low turnout rates. As an example, the City Council Member representing most of Ditmas Park won his seat with just over 1,000 votes.

On the top right corner of the site, I put together some links to meaningful endorsements. For City Council, they went pretty much unanimously to Rock Hackshaw in the bulk of Ditmas Park and Jumaane Williams for voters south of Foster. David Yassky is the papers' favored candidate for Comptroller, and in my humble opinion would be great at the job.

But obviously you've got to make up your own mind. You can find your polling place here.

[Ben, who has to stay out of politics for professional reasons, had absolutely nothing to do with this post.]
