Neighbor Shawn Shafner of The People’s Own Organic Power Project is moderating a speaker series at the Cisitor Center at Newtown Creek this summer. The three remaining are "Art and Sustainability" next Wednesday, June 1, "Newtown Creek: Past, Present, and Future" on June 23, and "A Sustainable Future: Green Innovations" on July 12.
