P.S. 139 Holds Hurricane Sandy Supply Collection

Residents are collecting supplies to be distributed for the victims of Hurricane Sandy at P.S. 139 at 330 Rugby Rd. 

Items will be collected in the lobby and auditorium at the main entrance of the school. 

Supplies needed include: men's and women's toiletries; blankets; towels; candles; flashlights; batteries; masks; shovels; cleaning supplies including bleach, rubber gloves, garbage bags, and paper towels; baby supplies including diapers, wipes, formula and socks; men's and women's new socks, shoes, boots, and new undergarments; coats, jackets, gloves and hats. 

"Many of the communities have received an abundance of clothing, please limit clothing donations to the specific items mentioned," said an announcement about the collection.
