An update on the police scene mentioned this morning, via the Courier Life police blotter. Turns out the man Avi and his wife avoided was noticed by an off-duty officer:
The peace officer was nearing Beverly Road at 10:30 pm, thought he saw the man with a gun and called 911.
Cops from the 70th Precinct responded, but didn’t find a weapon. They did, however, arrest the suspect when he began fighting police off.
