A neighbor was out walking with his family last night at about 5:45pm, when they came upon a scene on Marlborough, between Albemarle and Beverly, that appeared to be a recent mugging:
One ambulance and one NYPD were already there. Witnesses told me that a man was walking alone w/ headphones on when another young man jumped him and started hitting him. A passerby saw and called 911. The victim was injured and had lost teeth. The attacker ran off and police were canvassing. It was dark out but there were several people out walking dogs on a warmish Sunday evening. Very disturbing.
Please be careful out there--it gets dark so early now, so be sure you are aware of your surroundings.
