We apartment dwellers can identify with this story, from a house-hunting blogger
[O]ne day, in early April, we saw the above house, and that was it. We visited the place twice, the second time for almost 2 hours. We measured almost all of the 6 bedrooms (!!) , looked at each other and for the first time in 6 months got very serious about buying a home together. By almost all accounts, this place is a steal. The outside is nothing compared to the inside. This is old Victorian bliss - beautiful floors, staircases, crown moulding, and the current owners have invested a lot of time restoring it....
During this process I realized that I will eventually become something I loathe – the mother who doesn’t stop talking about her kids. I have been talking non-stop about this house for months and it dawned on me recently that perhaps people weren’t as interested in this as I was?
