The local blogger Perigrine emails that he was only able to volunteer on this year's daffodil planting for two of the four days but a fun time was had by all, and "we ran out of bulbs so it was a success."
Though also -- this is so annoying -- "the new tree guards on Cortelyou are being wrecked by trucks. We now have two tree guards with caution tape on Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby and two in front of the Met are busted as well."
