Big Turnout for House Tour

Big Turnout for House Tour

We heard good things about last weekend's Victorian Flatbush House Tour, and the Flatbush Development Corporation's Robin Redmond emails that it was a success, with over 400 tickets sold and 50 or more volunteers:

Having the FAST artists at the rest stop was a lovely addition to the tour. I think that people were happy to have a glass of sangria and stroll through the garden looking at local artists work. I for one enjoyed it....Every where I went, I could see folks with orange wrist bands walking through the neighborhood.

...Many people liked the new kitchen that Nicole had put in, and others loved Ron’s personal tour of the Russo’s home. Chris gave a great tour of his native plants garden which is registered as a Certified Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation. The home on East 22nd has been completely renovated yet maintained a lot of the old Victorian charm, including the refurbished stained glass windows.
