Dogs Will Receive Free Vaccinations, Identification Tags and Microchips

Dog owners are urged to bring their four-legged friends to a free health clinic for dogs on Sunday, August 12th, 2012 at Animal Care & Control of NYC (2336 Linden Blvd. between Shepherd Avenueand Essex Street) in Brooklyn.

 

The clinic, sponsored by the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals (The Alliance), Low Cost Vet Mobile, ASPCA and Animal Care & Control of NYC, will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Dogs will receive free vaccinations, identification tags and microchips while supplies last.

 

Dogs must be 8 weeks or older to receive services.

 

Dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after. Appointments are not required; services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

New York City law requires that cats and dogs be vaccinated.

 

In case of rain, the clinic will be open on Sunday, August 19th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
