Cortelyou Road's newest resident is hosting a party next week to get to know Ditmas Park's residents better, while helping a local organization at the same time.
Brooklyn Industries, the clothing store that recently opened on Cortelyou and Marlborough Roads, is hosting a shopwarming" party on Thursday, Jan. 24.
Snacks from Mimi’s Hummus and drinks will be served from 6:30-9 p.m. while guests and hosts mingle and get to know eachother.
The store will also donate 20 percent of the sales made that evening to the group Cortelyou Library Friends.
