Jerry Seinfeld is hitting the stand-up circuit for the first time in 14 years with a tour of the five boroughs that will include Brooklyn College.
"I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan," said Seinfeld in a statement. "I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I'm so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved home town."
Seinfeld will perform in Brooklyn at the Walt Whitman Theatre at Brooklyn College located at 2900 Campus Road on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m.
All performances will take place on Thursday nights in a nod to the television show that bore his name and aired on the same day. It will also feature special guest Colin Quinn, who Seinfeld directed in the Broadway show "Colin Quinn: Long Story Short" in 2010-11.
