Ditmas Park Serves as Backdrop for Music Video, Movie

The neighborhood was abuzz with crews for a Kristen Wiig movie and a Bon Jovi music video.

Residents couldn't get far in Ditmas Park Wednesday without running into lights, cameras and crews as the neighborhood served as the backdrop to a variety of projects.

A music video produced by Greencard Pictures was being prepared to be filmed at 549 East 16 St. between Ditmas and Newkirk Avenues, though most of the street was abuzz with crew members and filming equipment.

One crew member told Patch the music video was for Jon Bon Jovi, who would later perform at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy relief concert.

Elsewhere in the neighborhood, Ditmas Parkers might also be able to spot some Saturday Night Live favorites filming a comedy.

A film crew and equipment for 'The Skeleton Twins' was spotted on Rugby and Beverley Roads Wednesday afternoon. The film will star Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader who play estranged twins who reunite to examine how their lives went astray, though neither funny guy nor funny gal were seen.
