5 Things: Free Photo Workshop and Brooklyn Does Bastille Day

1. Vive La France! Today is Bastille Day, so head to Carroll Gardens, that bastion of Francophilia for a variety of Bastille Day events.
2. Learn something new. If you're willing to venture south of Prospect Park, there's an Arts in Dialogue - Photography Workshop in Ditmas Park. It's taught by a professional photographer. Plus, it's free.
3. Get literary. Tonight at LaunchPad there's The Phoenix Reading Series & Open Mic.
4. Get geeked. If you're more in the mood for nerdy nirvana, head over to The Way Station for Sunday Screening: Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark followed by self described "geek music" and then "nerd karaoke."
5. Move the car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect forevermore. Well, at least through the end of the month.
