Crown St and Montgomery St) at 7:00 PM Hosted by Senator Eric Adams, Elected Officials and the Brooklyn Community *** Our Community is mourning the deaths of 27 innocent people who were brutally murdered, in an instant. The Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut will never be the same. A 20 year old gunman entered this school, after taking the life of his own mother, shot and killed precious children, as well as the school principle. As our Country has been watching this story unfold, how many more times must we experience such horror across this Country before Congress gets it? When guns get into the hands of unstable people, we are all vulnerable, just like the children who were killed at the Sandy Hook School. WE ARE ALL AT RISK. In the world, of today, many people are professional and functioning, yet are unstable. We must put pressure on our legislators to push for legislation to tightened gun control, so that guns cannot get into our neighborhoods.
