Vigils to be Held Across Brooklyn for Newtown Victims

Here are more vigil's I received this from Renee Collymore Female District Leader, 57th Assembly District:
Dear Community, CANDLE LIGHT VIGILS for the victims of the Newtown, Conn Massacre (Sat. Dec 15, 2012) IN BROOKLYN: 1. Dean Street Playground (near 6th Ave) at 5:00 PM 2.Underwood Park at Waverly and Lafayette Ave at 5:00 PM 3. JJ Byrne Playground/Old Stone House at 4:00 PM 4. McCarren Park, Williamsburg at 5:00 PM 5. *** Medgar Evers College 1650 Bedford Avenue (bet. Crown St and Montgomery St) at 7:00 PM Hosted by Senator Eric Adams, Elected Officials and the Brooklyn Community *** Our Community is mourning the deaths of 27 innocent people who were brutally murdered, in an instant. The Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut will never be the same. A 20 year old gunman entered this school, after taking the life of his own mother, shot and killed precious children, as well as the school principle. As our Country has been watching this story unfold, how many more times must we experience such horror across this Country before Congress gets it? When guns get into the hands of unstable people, we are all vulnerable, just like the children who were killed at the Sandy Hook School. WE ARE ALL AT RISK. In the world, of today, many people are professional and functioning, yet are unstable. We must put pressure on our legislators to push for legislation to tightened gun control, so that guns cannot get into our neighborhoods.

there should be one on courtlyou road in the little play gound the Tot Lot..., that would be nice very young children like the ones slaughtered play there it would give it a clearer message hold it earlier enough and let parents bring there children ethey should have tons of ballons everyone would let go off to fly up to the sky Pink and blue to represent the children and Gold for the heroic teachers that saved lives maybe each ballon could have a victims name...some ballon company can be asked to help donate to do this collections can be made in sc chools stores and so on...If had the money believe me Id do it all myself...but I cant, so Im throwing an idea out to the public
