Woman Punched at Rite Aid

At 2:10 p.m. on Nov. 21 at Rite Aid Pharmacy at 892 Flatbush Ave., a man, 54, punched a female store worker while she escorted him out of the store, causing pain and swelling to her right cheek. Police arrested the man.

Car Hit by Tractor Trailer

At 2:10 p.m. on Nov. 21, a woman, 55, was driving her Toyota Prius near 931 Flatbush Ave. when an tractor trailer swerved out of its lane and hit her vehicle. The tractor trailer continued north on Flatbush Avenue without stopping. The woman was not injured, but minor property damage was caused. 

 

Woman Tries Skipping Out on Cab Fare

At 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 20, after a cab driver dropped off a woman at her Ocean Avenue home and told her the fare would be $35.50, the woman asked if he could unlock the car as she felt sick. He unlocked the door and the woman ran into her apartment and locked the door, refusing to pay the fare.

 

Man Busted with Marijuana

At 8 p.m. on Nov. 20, a 29-year-old man approached by an officer inside a East 21st Street building. The man, having marijuana on him, attempted to run away and when the officer caught him, tried to resist arrest by flailing his arms.

 

Driver Pulls a Gas and Ditch

At 8:20 p.m. on Nov. 20, a man driving a sedan with a New Jersey license plate filled his gas tank at the gas station at 1041 Coney Island Ave. and left without paying. He got away with $65 worth of gasoline.
