Sticky Fingers Lands Woman in Cuffs: This Week's Police Blotter

At 7 p.m. on Dec. 7, a 37-year-old male discovered the wheels from his Cadillac which he parked on East 19 Street near Avenue J missing. It is unknown who lifted the wheels, which are valued at $900.
At 11 a.m. on Dec. 9, a woman attempted to leave the Flatbush Food Co-op on Cortelyou Road without paying for beer, cheese and salmon, which she put in her bag. The woman, 33, was arrested on the scene.

At 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 31, a 28-year-old female discovered items missing from her bag as she went to pay for her items at the Target at 1598 Flatbush Ave. Taken from her bag were her wallet, which included her library card, credit cards and license as well as a DVD. No credit cards were used.
At 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 5, a woman reported that an unknown perp cashed a check for more than $350 that had been mailed to her Parade Place residence.
Assault
At 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 4, a male threw a cordless phone at her a 45-year-old woman, hitting her in the side of her face, causing swelling and pain. The two had been arguing inside a Flatbush Avenue residence before the phone was thrown.
Resisting Arrest
At 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 17-year-old male tried to enter Erasmus Hall High School at 911 Flatbush Ave. without being scanned. After being asked by a school safety officer to follow safety rules and regulations, the male began shouting, threatening yelling vulgar profanity at the officer. The officer attempted to place the male under arrest and he resisted by flailing is arms. He was eventually arrested.
